Speaking of Sobriety

Speaking of Sobriety (SOS)
SOS program provided by Glory House allows selected members the opportunity to speak to others about their addictions. This helps provide insight about their experience, strength, hope and their current path of recovery, and also the pitfalls and obstacles encountered by those suffering from addiction. We offer information about recovery as well as the direction to get them on the path of recovery. We have and are currently focusing on the Middle Schools, High schools, other youth programs that include VOA (Volunteers of America), the JDC (Juvenile Detention Center). The individuals that are selected to speak have been or are currently residents here at Glory House. Selected individuals have shown the commitment to change or have successfully transitioned into the community and are still on the path of recovery and are willing to continue to share their experience, strength and hope with others. If you would like any information about the SOS program contact Sally Holiday at 988-9108.
